The EPA President is a position elected by the membership at large. From its inception in 1919 to 2005, the President’s position was occupied by a member of the EPS on a part time basis in conjunction with that member’s full time duties as a sworn member of the Edmonton Police Service. In 2005, the EPA membership installed its first full time President, seconded from their full time duties in the Edmonton Police Service.
